CiRCADiAN is a concept album exploring the cycles of nature in which humans partake & create. It is the first full length release by cinematic rock band, 5th PROJEKT.

In order to compliment the sonic signature and conceptual approach of the band, a unique packaging solution was developed. The limited edition CD design was inspired by silver screen film canisters. Nature’s cycles were reflected in an ambigram logo, designed for night and day. A single saddle-stitch circular booklet was spot varnished and die-cut. Finally, an aluminum tin package was silk screened in pink to round out the presentation. The cinematic theme was similarly carried across all promotional and marketing collateral including art direction of a film noire photo shoot.

The ambigram logo was recognized in Die Gestalten Verlag’s Los Logos 4, an anthology of contemporary and cutting edge logo design.
