NO HARM
In an ode to the defamed pagan god, Pan, the song No Harm by Tara Rice invites the listener to introspectively investigate their relationship with the shadow, questioning the malevolent teachings of the world’s first corporation. The narrative follows Tara preparing for an evening with Pan. The maligned man of myth has journeyed from a dark wood into the stone and cement bastion of modern humankind. A slice of apple pie awaits. Paired with red wine. By candle light. A celebration of the sun’s return. The video was shot across the span of three days in three locations using only an iPhone, natural lighting and the grace of Mother Nature. The horned mask of Pan was designed, hand-made and painted. A modern day approach to ritual ceremonial masks.
