Failure is an influential space rock band from Los Angeles, California initially active between 1990-1997. Since first disbanding, Failure continued to gain popularity amongst music enthusiasts. 10 years after the release of their seminal album, Fantastic Planet, Failure compiled the Essentials double album. The collection curated previously unreleased material and song selections from their 3 full length albums. Presented as an 8 panel digipack double CD package with 12 page book and 12 panel foldout, Essentials was created for both the 90’s Failure fan, and those new to the band since their 1997 breakup.

The album’s art direction, graphic design and photography was recognized by Coupe’s Design and Image Annual.
